Basic A Basic knowledge of the Biblical and historical development of teaching concerning Grace. An understanding of the traditional classifications and their meaning. A understanding of Grace according to the categories: Justification, the New Creation, Sonship of God. The completion of religious studies at middle school level. A knowledge of Metaphysics and the History of Philosophy according to the study programme of the Major Seminary. A basic knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. |

The notion of Grace in the Holy Scriptures and in the Tradition of the Church. Current theological thinking on Grace. Grsace as the forgiveness of sins – justification. Catholic - Lutheran declaration on the Justification - its contents and its meaning. Grace as a new relationship with God – the Sonship of God. The communal dimension of our being gathered together in Christ. Grace as the new Creation – the life of the justified man. The world and events as Grace. The experience of Grace. Growth in Grace and merit. The life of faith, Hope and Love. The freedom of the sons of God. The Eschatological dimension of the justification and of the Sonship of God. The Free-will of Man and the necessity of the Grace of God. Grace for all, or for the chosen. Personal and objective understanding of Grace. Oral examination |
