Basic

A knowledge of Catholic teaching abort God the creator, abort the Word and human beings as God’s creatures. A knowledge of the Biblical foundation and Catholic Tradition concerning Creation. The relationship between Dogma and the scientific understanding of the beginnings of the world and mankind. The value of world and the dignity of the human being in the light of the Catholic teaching on the Creation. The dogmatic foundation of Ecology.

The completion of religious studies at middle school level. A competent knowledge of the beginning of the world and mankind as presented by the scientific explanation to be gain from middle school. Philosophy of the Natural Environment, and Philosophical Anthropology according to the programme of studies in the Major Seminary.

Creation and salvation and their mutual relationship. The historicity of the Biblical narrative of Creation. Extra-Biblical writing concerning the origin of man and of the world. Biblical teaching about the Creation. Creation – a systematic exposition. Creation through the Word. Creation as the work of the Most Holy Trinity. Motive and goal for the Creation. The Creation of the world and at the same time time. Creation ex nihilo. The continuous act of Creation. Origins of Man. Evolutionism. Human descent from the original man and woman. God as the creator of the individual man. The dignity of the human body. Man as a unity – Body and Soul according the the Holy Scriptures and the teaching of the Church. The dignity and vocation of women. Man as the Image of God according to the Holy Scriptures and the teaching of the Church. The Image of God and Human Nature. Man as a Person. The Original state of Man according to the Holy Scriptures and the teaching of the Church. Supernatural Gifts. And the historical character of the Original State. Teaching on Original Sin. The notion of the Original Sin, its Biblical foundation and the tradition of the Church. Contemporary interpretations concerning the Original Sin. God as the Creator of the invisible world – Angels.
