Level of the subject: basic

Objectives of the course:

1. Acquiring knowledge in detailed moral theology (internal life);

2. Development of the skill of detailed and analytical study of moral content (taking into account current problems in the life of the Church);

3. Ability to synthesize the collected material from moral theology;

4. Gaining practical skills to form moral judgments on the issues discussed.

5. Having adequate sensitivity in the area of moral issues.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of ethical issues.

Full description:

Course contents:

1. Unbelief - atheism and its forms: Secularization and desacralization.

2. Connection of moral and theological virtues.

3. The concept of faith in ST and NT.

4. Faith in Saint. Paul and Saint. John.

5. The concept of faith and transgressions in its scope.

6. Hope as a virtue.

7. Material and formal object of hope.

8. Infractions in the field of hope.

9. Love as moral efficiency.

10. Content of the virtue of love and transgression;

11. Cult - terminological concept; duty of worship. Elements of God's worship.

12. Misdemeanors in God's worship.

13. The charism of the priesthood and the crisis in its experience.

14. Norms of sexual ethics. Purity, celibacy, virginity, etc.

15. Misdemeanor and sexual perversions. Criteria of vocation to the priesthood (identity).

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

Knowledge:

It has the knowledge, leading to specialization in the field of moral theology inner life. He understands, explains and defines the basic issues of moral theology.

Skills:

The student can independently search, analyze,

evaluate, select and integrate information from various sources and the use of formulated on the basis of critical

the courts with the use of theological knowledge.

Qualifications:

The student sees the relationship between theory and practice inner life. It is susceptible to known and disclosed problems of moral life in the modern world.

Credits: 2.

30 hours Lecture - 1 point.

20 hours to prepare for the exam - 1 point.

15 hours reading literature.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

1. Continuous assessment (student's presence and activity);

2. Oral exam (at the end of the semester).

Evaluation 2: Lack of attendance at lectures, lack of knowledge (exam), lack of competence and skills.
