Pre-intermediate Level.

1.Gaining knowledge concerning English grammar and vocabulary.

2.Developing language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing (on the pre+intermediate language level).

1.Those who attend the language course are supposed to have attended high school English language course.

2.They should possess some basic language competences corresponding to the English language Pre-intermediate level.
Full description:

During each study semester the following components of students’ work are due to assessment:

1.Two oral presentations;

2.Two short written essays.

1.Student’s classroom communication activity.

There is also a written exam after each semester.

On successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

- name everyday objects;

- describe someone's appearance;

- inform about people from their surrounding and ask about them; use appropriate polite phrases; discuss on foreign and native languages; describe a dish; order a meal in a restaurant; mention ingredients; describe a picture; mention features of an item; define one’s musical preferences; agree or disagree; present one’s priorities; life plans and hopes; present ways and reasons for saving; energy

-na ocene 3 60%-67% ogólnej sumy punktów uzyskanych w ciagu semestru

-na ocene 3,5 68%-75% ogólnej sumy punktów uzyskanych w ciagu semestru

-na ocene 4 76%-83% ogólnej sumy punktów uzyskanych w ciagu semestru

-na ocene 4,5 84%-91% ogólnej sumy punktów uzyskanych w ciagu semestru

-na ocene 5 92%-100% ogólnej sumy punktów uzyskanych w ciagu semestru

b) egzamin koncowy podsumowujacy lektorat:
