Level of course: Basic

Course targets:

The aim of education is: - to familiarize students with the criminal law of the Church (c. 1311-1399) - familiar with the principles and general standards, which describe the organization and functioning of the judiciary of the Church, and the process of bringing the Church's annulment of marriage and other processes of marriage (c. 1400-1500 and 1671-1716) - learning about general rules of canonization-and the acquisition of basic skills and competence in relation to the ecclesiastical court

Prerequisites:

basic knowledge of general standards (Book I of the Code of Canon Law) and the hierarchical system of the Church (c. 330-572)

Full description:

Course content:

1. Ecclesiastical criminal law (criminal entity, crime, and punishment, correctional penalty-censorship expiatory punishment, punishment, termination penalties, and punishments for various crimes).

2. Judicial protection of rights in the Church and ecclesiastical justice

3. The concept of the church legal proceedings, its subject, the scope of judicial competence Kościoła.4. Jurisdiction (the concept and principles, property titles tribunals of first instance).

5. Different levels and types of courts: Court of First Instance (Judge, auditors, promoter of justice, defender of the marriage bond, the notary public); tribunal of second instance, tribunals of the Apostolic See (Roman Rota, the Supreme Court of the Apostolic Signatura).

Celem kształcenia jest:

- zapoznanie studentów z kościelnym prawem karnym (kan. 1311-1399)

- zapoznanie z zasadami i normami ogólnymi, które ukazują organizację i funkcjonowanie sądownictwa kościelnego, a także przybliżenie kościelnego procesu o orzeczenie nieważności małżeństwa i innych procesów małżeńskich (kan. 1400-1500 i 1671-1716)

- poznanie ogólnych norm prawa kanonizacyjnego

- i nabycie sprawności i podstawowej kompetencji w relacji do sądownictwa kościelnego
