Course level: Basic Course targets: The subject sets out to introduce into the art of learning on an academic level, with special consideration of planning how to learn, using literature and lectures, and preparing for exams. Entrance requirements: Completion of high school with the passed Matura exam |

Course content: 1. Basics of how to plan one’s own learning in a rational way (advantages of a good plan, kinds of planning) 2. Compliance with recommendations of intellectual work hygiene 3. Basics of the art of learning (taking into account the “curve of fotgetfulness”) 4. Necessity and ability to use a library 5. Art of reading in the process of learning 6. Ability to use lectures and take notes during lectures 7. Learning as information processing and the ability to select the information 8. Presentation in class and seminar 9. Introduction to academic writing (semester assignment, scientific report, etc.) 10. Kinds and functions of exams 11. Stages and ways of getting ready for exams 12. Practical tips how to take exams Assessment methods: Credit will be given for active participation in seminars, and also on the basis of tests and questionnaires. |

(in Polish) Efekty kształcenia: 1. Opanowanie podstaw pojęciowych przedmiotu. 2. Poznanie dynamiki pracy badawczej (kwerenda, bibliografia, fiszki). 3. Opanowanie zasad konstruowania pracy magisterskiej (plan, podziały, cytacje i przypisy). 4. Zapoznanie się z metodami teologicznymi i zasadami pisowni słownictwa teologicznego. 5. Poznanie wymogów formalnych i wskazań technicznych dotyczących komponowania pracy magisterskiej. 30 godz - udział w zajęciach z prowadzącym 15 godz - praca własna studenta 15 godz - kwerenda naukowa |
