Short description:	Level of course: Basic. Essence and the fundamental principles of the moral theology.
Full description:	Objectives of the course, preferably expressed in terms of learning outcomes and competences: Passing on students the knowledge of the essence of Christian morality; explanation of fundamental ethical and moral principles useful for solving moral problems. Winter semester: Presentation of the subject and methods applied in moral theology. Moral theology in relation to other disciplines of science. The history of moral theology. Outline of Christian anthropology. Summer semester: The Christian vocation as a fundamental principle of Christian life. Normative character of Christian vocation. Results of its rejection (problem of sin). A conscience as a subjective norm of morality. The criteria of moral value of human acts. A virtue as a moral skill.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	(in Polish) Studenci powinni zdobyć wiedzę dotyczącą fundamentów moralności chrześcijańskiej, tak aby mogli aktywnie uczestniczyć w późniejszych wykładach z zakresu teologii moralnej szczegółowej. Powinni zapoznać się z podstawowymi pojęciami katolickiej teologii moralnej istotnymi dla wyjaśnienia i rozwiązywania dylematów moralnych. Poznanie meandrów kształtowania się myśli teologicznomoralnej Kościoła powinno ułatwić im zrozumienie trudności jakie napotyka współcześnie przepowiadanie moralne Kościoła w niektórych kwestiach.
