The central goal of the course is to learn the history of the Biblical Hebrew and an introduction to the basic principles of Hebrew phonology, morphology, syntax and vocabulary. |

Parse and translate verbal forms in the categories studied in class -Translate basic Hebrew sentences - Recognize vocabulary learned from the vocabulary handout - Read most prose passages of the Hebrew Bible with the aid of a lexicon. |

(in Polish) Warunkiem zaliczenia jest: - regularna obecność i aktywność na wykładach - utrwalenie materiału - testy z przerobionego materiału. Ocena końcowa ustalona zostanie na podstawie ustnego sprawdzianu umiejętności określania form gramatycznych i tłumaczenia wybranego tekstu biblijnego (dobranego przez prowadzącego zajęcia, proporcjonalnie do wiedzy zdobytej przez studentów). |
