Researchers have examined interpersonal functioning, intrapersonal motives, and social consequences of these traits. This course will examine the various aspects of human darkness.

Over the last decade, the dark side of personality has grown from an area of exclusive concern to clinicians to researchers in various areas now trying to understand how traits like psychopathy and perfectionism might play out in subclinical populations. Researchers have examined interpersonal functioning, intrapersonal motives, and social consequences of these traits. This course will examine the various aspects of human darkness.

Metody i kryteria oceniania:

In this assessment, you are required to write a 1,000-word research proposal. It is to be in APA formatted, with proper referencing. The goal here is to design a feasible study that allows you to examine one of the areas we have covered in this class or one that you are interested in that you have my approval to do. The goal is to set you up to be able to actually run a study when I leave that you can analyze and publish. The proposal should cover a basic literature review, proposed methods, and expected results. You are expected to pick an area of darkness and then examine it relation to something, ideally new or in a new way as previously conducted.
