The objective of the class is to present the hypothesis of the origin of language and culture by Eric Gans known as Generative Anthropology (GA) in selected, interpretive contexts.

Pełny opis:

The objective of the class is to present the hypothesis of the origin of language and culture by Eric Gans. Generative Anthropology (GA) as he calls it, will be interpreted in selected representative contexts. We begin with the basic concepts and assumptions of the theory, moving on to a model account of the scene of origin and its philosophical underpinnings, to then come to the application of GA in the masterpieces of classical English literature and its innovative interpretations of recent times.

cultural studies and cultural sciences including generative anthropology along with the key issues addressed in their field; understands their significance as an expression of the discipline's growing self-awareness, as well as a response to the challenges of the modern world.

B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

in communication with experts in the field of cultural studies and cultural sciences including generative anthropology, using specialized vocabulary used in these disciplines.
