Brief description (course contents):

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the integration policies in Western Europe for immigrants from non-European countries. This will be looked at in the context of the challenges faced by the socio-cultural integration of immigrants in connection with the conflict between their religious law and receiving countries law and human rights. The lecture will show good practices as well as integration as a two way process regarding immigrants and the receiving society.
