The aim of the lecture is to introduce students to the best-developed strategy of qualitative research - the methodology of grounded theory.

Each of the four approaches to strategy will be described: Glaser and Stauss, Straus and Corbin, Cathy Charmaz' constructionist approach and Adele Clarke's grounded theorizing.

After finishing the course students will be able to process the project based on grounded theory methodology taking into account all obligatory steps. They will recognize techniques as theoretical sampling, constant comparative analysis, saturation of categories. They could make presentation of conception adequately to the audience and situation.

consultations - 10 g.

presentation - 20 g.
