The aim of the lecture is to familiarize students with the basic assumptions of crisis intervention on the basis of social work. Theoretical as well as practical aspects of running this form of social assistance will be discussed.

After completion of the lecture, the student will know the basic methods of crisis intervention, in particular situations. Will acquire basic knowledge of the principles and techniques of conducting crisis intervention in social work.

Terms of assessment

1. attendance - one absent attendance (7-presence 5, 6 - attendance 4, attendance - 3, 4 attendance and less 2)

2. written assignment

The final grade is the average grade from the final and attendance
