(tylko po angielsku) The purpose of the lecture is to give students knowledge of the concept, aims and mechanisms of immigration and asylum policy in the European Union. Students will get knowledge about multi aspect of the phenomenon of immigration policy in a contacts of necessity to combine interest of European Community and individual states dealing with the third country nationality. They will get a knowledge about immigration and asylum policy. |

(tylko po angielsku) Learning outcomes and competence: K_W01. Student has a knowledge about history of migration in the world and Europe. K_W02. Student knows the legal acts of UN and the European Union concerning migration (Geneva Convention, Schengen and Dublin regulations, Eurodac, etc.). K_W03. Student has knowledge about immigration policy in selected EU countries. K_W04. Student knows the difference between migrant and refugee. K_W05. Student has knowledge about the present influx of migrants, countries of origin, their culture and religion. K_U01. Student is able to explain the increasing negative attitudes of society towards immigrants in Europe. K_U02. Student can describe the process of social integration through education. K_U03. Student knows how to link the process of social integration with the labor market. K_U04. Student knows how to take action to combat discrimination of immigrants in Europe. K_U05. Student can compare reactions of the Visegrad Countries on the migration crises with other EU countries. K_K01. Student is aware of the dilemmas cause by forced returns and the manner of removal of illegal immigrants. K_K02. Student can explain and justify the principle of non-refoulement. K-K03. Student understands the need to combat stereotypes against immigrants from Muslim countries in the EU. K_K04. Student see the link between immigrant integration and security of the country. K_K05. Student is competent to discuss contemporary attitudes of European society to immigrants coming to our continent. |
