It acquainted with the characteristic fauna of selected urban and rural environments. The course teaches the various forms of communication and information exchanging. |

Brief description
(in Polish) Student pozna zasady prowadzenia biomonitoringu w szczególności monitoringu stanu środowiska glebowego w różnych siedliskach (zaburzonych i naturalnych) na podstawie fauny glebowej. W trakcie zajęć omówiona zostanie rola organizmów glebowych w przebiegu procesów glebotwórczych, w utrzymaniu żyzności gleby, w zachowaniu równowagi ekologicznej w glebie. Omówione zostaną przyczyny degradacji środowiska oraz możliwości wykorzystania żywych organizmów do oceny stanu i/lub stopnia zanieczyszczenia gleby, wody i powietrza. |

(in Polish) Celem przedmiotu jest zdobycie wiedzy na temat właściwości fizykochemicznych gleby, procesów i przemian zachodzących z udziałem mikroorganizmów i ich znaczenia dla żyzności gleb. Student zapozna się z wybranym fizycznymi, chemicznymi i mikrobiologicznymi metodami analizy próbek glebowych stosowanymi w ocenie stanu i jakości środowiska glebowego. |
