(in Polish) Seminarium dedykowane jest obecnym magistrantom i mam na celu pomaganie w pomyślnej realizacji projektów magisterskich. Zakłada się, że tylko niektóre (może się zdarzyć, że żadne) z nich będą prowadzone po bezpośrednim kierunkiem prowadzącego seminarium. Tym niemniej seminarium pomoże uzupełnić wiedzę i udoskonalić metodologie pisanych prac. Tematyka seminarium nie jest ściśle zdefiniowana. Przypisane jest do epistemologii i filozofii języka; okazjonalnie jednak obejmie filozofię kultury i filozofię społeczną.

Brief description

During the lecture, we will present contemporary methods of modeling selected modal concepts in possible worlds semantics. For the propositional functors of necessity, possibility, and contingency, we will present the following interpretations: alethic, temporal, and epistemic. In possible worlds semantics, we will define the most famous and philosophically attractive normal logics and show proof systems for them. In the second part of the lecture, we will focus on the criteria for choosing modal logic as a useful philosophical tool. We will present examples of the use of modal logics: two formalized proofs for the existence of the Absolute, a formal analysis of chosen epistemic and deontic paradoxes.

Brief description

Sport is a phenomenon as old as the recorded history of humanity. At various times, it performed religious, educational and ludic functions; its importance in health promotion, aesthetic and economic values, as well as connections with politics are recognized. Contemporary sport, as a basic form of physical culture, has become the point of interest in medicine, psychology, sociology, economics, and philosophy.

The aim of the lecture is to present the philosophical: ontological, anthropological, axiological and ethical foundations of sport, as well as to analyze the ethical threats related to the contemporary state of this field of human activity.

Analizy koncentrują się na określeniu specyfiki badanych relacji i instytucji. Omawiane są różne podejścia opisujące dostęp do instytucji małżeństwa i rodziny oraz ukazujące specyfikę relacji małżeńskich i rodzinnych. Prezentowane są dyskusje o historycznych, współczesnych oraz możliwych formach małżeństwa i rodziny, w tym określenia statusu dziecka w tych instytucjach..

(in Polish) Miłość to podstawowe doświadczenie każdego człowieka. Kochamy i chcemy być kochani. Filozofów od wieków interesował ten temat: miłość Platońska (nie mylić z platoniczną), Arystotelowska filia, chrześcijańska agape. A jakie zmiany w rozumieniu miłości nastąpiły w epoce nowożytnej i współczesnej? Czy dzisiaj inaczej pojmujemy miłość niż nasi przodkowie? L. Ferry i J.L. Marion, współcześni francuscy filozofowie, dostrzegają wiele istotnych zmian, na które warto zwrócić uwagę.
