The subject introduces various forms of rescuing endangered or reintroduction of extinct fauna in Poland and in the world. It allows to learn about the endangered and vanishing fauna of different habitats, paying attention to the similarities and differences between environmental conditions. Shows the causes underlying the reduced numbers of selected species, and acquaints with active protection activities in Poland and in the world. |

The seminar is devoted to master's theses which deal with the interaction of nature and culture. Preference are given to topics that deal with issues related to the influence of religion on human relationships to nature. The seminar also features diploma theses that focus on issues such as the principle of sustainable development, the Millennium Goals, the of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the impact of particular animal and plant species on the human civilization. The aim of the seminar is to teach the student to apply the principles of methodology of scientific writing and to elaborate the subject matter of the thesis. |
