Winter semester 2021/22

• Conversatorium - 30 hours

The subject acquaints with various forms of rescue or recovery activities of native fauna and flora in Poland and in the world. It allows to learn about alien, often invasive species of fauna and flora of different habitats, paying attention to the similarities and differences in the way of settling. Shows the underlying causes of the growing problem of alien species. It demonstrates active protection activities in Poland and in the world.

The man (as well as other organisms) lives in an environment and this environment exerts certain effects on the body. All biological systems must self-regulate in the context of changing environmental demands. At the simplest level of agreement, “stress” involves some environmental stimulus that produces a reaction in a living organism that may be either favorable or unfavorable to the organism. The term, “stress”, should be understand both as an environmental stimulus and as the response to an environmental stimulus. Physiological disruption resulting from impoverished environmental circumstances is central to the study of health, lifestyle and social status. Use of multiple indicators gives a comprehensive understanding of stress and adaptation in the past and contemporary.

(in Polish) W ramach wykładu przekazywana jest wiedza z przedmiotu Hydrologia. Studenci uczą się analizować zjawiska hydrologiczne z uwzględnieniem podejścia holistycznego do procesów środowiskowych. Główny nacisk merytoryczny, położony jest na studia w zakresie metodyki oceny zasobów hydrologicznych. Szczegółowo poznają zasady obiegu wody, zagrożenia dla istniejących zasobów wody, degradacje chemiczną zasobów wody powierzchniowej oraz podziemnej. Wiedza ta powinna, pomóc absolwentom w podejmowaniu decyzji w zakresie procesu zarządzania zasobami wodnymi z uwzględnieniem zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju. Przedmiot wykładany jest z zastosowaniem nowoczesnych multimedialnych oraz interaktywnych technik informatycznych. Studenci mają dostęp do materiałów edukacyjnych w ramach indywidualnych kont na dedykowanym serwerze w systemie e-learning. System e-learning służy również, jako platforma testowa oraz do interaktywnego kontaktu z wykładowcą.

Course goals: knowledge of principle ruling the structure and functioning of modern computers, software and software dependant tools such as text editors, data bases, spreadsheet, etc.

Course outcome: ability to use informatics technology as a tool enriching learning process.
