Short description:

Truth is the central epistemic category. The main goal is to show the central epistemological problems from the perspective of truth.

Full description:

For epistemology (the theory of cognition), the central question is the problem of truth. For every knowledge tends to be true knowledge. Truth, then, sets the perspective for research on cognition. At the same time, epistemic truth is essential for all human life. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic epistemological problems (cognitive theory) and their various approaches.

The aim of the exercises – to get acquainted with and analyze the key texts corresponding to the issues of the lecture.
