The purpose of the course is to learn the basic principles and methods of scientific research and scientific writing. In particular, the student will learn the sources of obtaining scientific knowledge, including scientific databases, how to make footnotes and bibliography. How to construct legal texts. |

Knowledge EK1: has knowledge of institutions in the field of administration at the national and international level (realizes the directional effects AD2_W01, AD2_W03, AD2_W04) EK2: has knowledge of methods and tools of data acquisition in the field of social sciences (realizes the directional effects AD2_W05) EK3: knows the norms that organize social structures and institutions and the governing regularities and their sources, nature, genesis and functioning and their impact on the state, economy and society (realizes directional effects AD2_W06 and AD2_W07) EK4: is able to apply theoretical knowledge of law and administration to the interpretation of social phenomena and processes (realizes directional effects AD2_U01, AD2_U02, AD2_U03, AD2_U06, AD2_K06) EK5: is able to use methods and tools appropriate for legal and administrative sciences to present analyses in the field of law and administration, and to expand his/her knowledge for this purpose (realizes directional effects ADZ_U04, AD2_K01) EK6: is able to apply legal regulations to describe a specific problem in the field of law or administration (realizes effects AD2_U05, AD2_U07) EK7: is able to acquire data to solve the analyzed problem in order to justify the actions and decisions taken in oral form, including in a foreign language (realizes the directional effects AD2_U09, AD2_U10) EK8: is able to obtain data to solve the analyzed problem in order to justify the actions and decisions taken in written form, including in a foreign language (realizes the directional effects AD2_U08, AD2_U10). In relation to knowledge outcomes (EK1-EK3) On the grade of BDB The student achieves the assumed effects at a very good level, independently, without any major shortcomings. Has in-depth knowledge in the scope indicated in the EC. It draws its knowledge from normative acts, literature and jurisprudence, as well as from foreign sources; per DB+ rating The student achieves the assumed effects to a good degree, independently, without major shortcomings. Has in-depth knowledge in the scope indicated in the EC. However, it can make minor mistakes and omissions. She draws her knowledge from normative acts, literature and case law. per DB rating The student achieves the assumed effects to a good degree, independently, with a slight support from the teacher, but without major shortcomings. Has in-depth knowledge in the scope indicated in the EC. However, it may make mistakes and omissions that do not relate to the essence of the issues in question. She draws her knowledge from normative acts, literature and case law. na ocenę dst + The student achieves the assumed effects to a satisfactory, but distinctive degree, independently, with the support of the teacher, but without major shortcomings. He has good knowledge in the field indicated in the EC. However, it may make mistakes and omissions that do not relate to basic issues. It draws its knowledge from normative acts, literature and, to some extent, also from case law. DST Assessment The student achieves the assumed effects to a sufficient degree with the support of the teacher. Has basic knowledge in the scope indicated in the EC. However, it can make mistakes and omissions. She draws her knowledge from normative acts and literature. On the NDST assessment The student does not achieve the assumed effects.
