Knowledge:
Grade 2: the student does not know the basic English terminology of philosophy of mind in English, sufficient to understand the text; the student does not know the basic theses proclaimed by the authors read, including the arguments for them.
Grade 3: the student has little knowledge of the basic English terminology of the philosophy of mind in English, has a limited understanding of the analyzed text; the student hardly knows the basic theses proposed by the discussed authors and their arguments. He is not capable of reading a philosophical text on his own
Grade 4: the student satisfactorily knows the basic terminology of the philosophy of mind in English, understands the analyzed text to a large extent; the student knows the basic theses of the discussed authors and the arguments they use. The student is able to read a philosophical text on his own.
Grade 5: the student perfectly knows the basic terminology of the philosophy of mind in English, perfectly understands the analyzed text; the student knows exactly the basic theses presented by the discussed authors, including the knowledge and understanding of their arguments. He is able to read a philosophical text on his own
Skills:
Grade 2: the student is not able to independently translate the text of philosophy and mind from English into Polish
Grade 3: the student is hardly able to independently translate texts from the philosophy of mind from English into Polish
Grade 4: the student is able to satisfactorily translate texts from the philosophy of mind from English into Polish
Grade 5: the student is able to independently and without errors translate texts from the philosophy of mind from English into Polish
Competences:
Grade 2: the student is not able to effectively organize his own translation work and to critically assess the degree of its advancement
Grade 3: the student has a limited ability to organize his own translation work and is not able to critically assess the degree of its advancement
Grade 4: the student is able to satisfactorily organize his own work on the translation and is able to critically assess the degree of its advancement
Grade 5: the student effectively organizes his own translation work and critically assesses its advancement
The final grade consists of:
1. Class attendance
2. Active participation in classes
3. Translation of a philosophical text from English into Polish
4. Submission of a self-translated text from English into Polish at the end of the semester
