Knowledge: 1 - the graduate has a thorough understanding of advanced biological phenomena and processes and the key issues in advanced biological knowledge 2 - the graduate builds on empirical foundations in the interpretation of biological phenomena and processes, fully understands the importance of mathematical and statistical methods and IT tools 3 - the graduate knows and understands the most important problems in various disciplines of biological sciences and knows the connections of biological sciences with other natural science and science disciplines 4 – the graduate knows and understands the scope of current scientific topics of biology and the main research trends in biological sciences 5 – the graduate knows and understands the principles of research planning using biological techniques and research tools and the basic principles of safety and hygiene at work Skills: 6 – the graduate is able to select and critically analyze of information, especially from electronic sources 7 – the graduate is able to prepare and present oral presentations on research work using multimedia 8 – the graduate can use the biological literature in English Social competences: 9 - the graduate is ready to critically evaluate his/her knowledge and the content he/she receives, recognizes the importance of knowledge in solving problems, systematically updates the knowledge of biology and knows its practical applications 10 – the graduate is ready to appropriately identify priorities in order to accomplish a task defined by him/herself or by others |
