The aim of the module is to acquire students' ability to translate, analyze, and understand English texts using the literature on human ecology. The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the interrelations between individuals and groups and their environment. The specifics of the ecology of the human species, environmental factors influencing the development and functioning of the human organism will be discussed, the ecological diversity of the human population depending on the type of economy and environmental conditions, and the evolutionary determinants of the interactions between humans and the environment. |

Knowledge 1. A student defines the basic concept in the field of sciences. 2. SA student understands the importance of English-language vocabulary in the field of ecology. Skills 1.A student is able to translate and interpret text in English. Competence 1. A student on his own ability to solve foreign language programs. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Attendance in class (2 absences allowed). Assessment of the student's work during the course, as well as assessment of the self-development of the English text. Translation of English texts. Analysis of translated texts. During the course students will acquire the skills to use and translate scientific texts in English. Verification of learning outcomes: active participation in classes, referrals, correct translation and interpretation of texts; The final grade also includes an assessment of the final test, knowledge of vocabulary and the context of the occurrence of words in English texts. 100-85 points- very good 85-80 - good plus 80-70 - sufficient 70-65 - sufficient plus 65-51 - sufficient 51-0 – insufficient |
