The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the psychological methods used during revalidation and rehabilitation activities. Selected therapies and methods addressed to children, young people and adults with various types of disabilities will be presented |

1. Organizational classes (discussion of the purpose, schedule of activities and requirements). Heating-integrating exercises. 2. Diagnosis- and what next? Why is early development support so important? 2. General issues regarding sensory integration and alternative communication 3. The V.Sherborne developing movement method - a proposal to work with an autistic child and / or with intellectual disability 4.Christopher and Marianna Knill method 5. Psychological problems of blind people and / or deaf people. Revalidation of a child with sensory disability. Intellect diagnosis using the Leiter Scale 6. The use of fairy tale therapy in occupational therapy 7. Set of questionnaires for the diagnosis of the Autism Spectrum 8. HPI questionnaire - diagnosis and ways of revalidation. The presentation of questionnaires created on the basis of HPI 9. The scale of Moral Sesitivity as a specific scale 11.SAS as a general scale 12 Coping with pain- presentation of BPCQ i CSQ Questionnaires 13. Quality of life assessed using SF-36 Questionnaire 14. Experience of Illness or disability in the family in the context of psychological help 15. Comprehensive Rehabilitation of people with disabilities. ICF classification as a complement to ICD Program content can be modified - depending on the needs of the listeners |

Knowledge: Student is able to analyze and interpret the role of factors conductive to positive or negative attitudes towards people with disabilities Student understands the conditions for the development of social competence in the disabled Student is able to list ways of providing psychological help to people with disabilities Skills: Student is able to recognize problems specific to different types of disabilities Student knows how to choose methods suitable for the process of revalidation or rehabilitation in the context of various disabilities Student is able to adjust the adequate forms of psychological help and provide appropriate assistance or refer to others specjalists Social competence: Student is sensitive to the problems of people with disabilities Student demonstrates an attitude of tolerance towards people with various types of disabilities ECTS: - attendance-15 - participation in exercises - 15 - NUMBER OF ECTS – 2 |
