Short description:

Revalidation psychology is to provide students with information about the rehabilitation process of people we diagnose as people with a specific disability, the effects of this disability on the person and his family, forms of psychological and social help.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

Knowledge: the student knows the information about the process of rehabilitation of people with disabilities, psychological conditions of this process resulting from the type and degree of disability, social perception of people with disabilities, mechanisms regulating adaptation to learning, life, work;

Skills: student analyzes the problems of people with disabilities and offers help in their rehabilitation;

Competences: the student demonstrates openness to the problems of the disabled, creative in constructing rehabilitation programs

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

(2): The student does not know what revalidation does, he does not know the rules of its application.

(3): The student is briefly familiar with the psychology of revalidation, has little knowledge about basic issues in its field.

(4): The student has the correct knowledge about revalidation, knows the models of therapeutic work in selected disorders.

(5): The student is perfectly familiar with the discipline of revalidation, knows the basic therapeutic methods and techniques, has knowledge on how to prevent these phenomena.
