Objectives of the course: Problems of the lecture are related to the presentation of the main thinkers, currents, schools, philosophical faculties from ancient to modern times. The performance will be made by emphasizing the main philosophical problems (their starting points and consequences) that are important in a given period of philosophy and at the same time unchanged for its entire development.

KNOWLEDGE: the student has knowledge of the currents and forms of ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary philosophy; student is able to formulate the sources and consequences of philosophical problems from ancient to modern times; the student knows the basic philosophical terminology formed during this period of the history of philosophy

SKILLS: student analyzes philosophical arguments, identifies their key theses and assumptions using the texts of philosophy from ancient to modern times; student is able to listen with understanding and organize the heard philosophical theorems searching in ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary philosophy of their sources

COMPETENCES: the student is oriented towards searching in philosophy from antiquity to the present day the basis for formulating statements on every topic; student strives to solve specific tasks and life problems in relation to philosophy from antiquity to the present day

KNOWLEDGE:

- for grade 2 (ndst): the student does not know the trends and forms of philosophy; does not know what are the sources and consequences of philosophical problems in this period of history of philosophy; does not know the basic philosophical terminology

- for grade 3 (dst): the student has sufficient knowledge of the philosophy currents; but he cannot determine the sources and consequences of philosophical problems during this period of the history of philosophy; also poorly understands philosophical terminology

- for the grade 4 (db): the student has knowledge of the philosophy currents; can determine the sources of philosophical problems of this period of the history of philosophy; is well versed in philosophical terminology

- for grade 5 (very good): the student is perfectly familiar with the currents and forms of philosophy; perfectly knows the sources and consequences of philosophical problems in this period of history of philosophy; knows the basic philosophical terminology well

SKILLS:

- for grade 2 (ndst): the student cannot analyze philosophical arguments, cannot identify key theses and assumptions using the texts of philosophy; the student is unable to listen with understanding and is not able to sort out the heard philosophical statements, nor can he look in the history of philosophy

- for grade 3 (dst): the student correctly analyzes philosophical arguments, is not always able to identify key theses and assumptions using the texts of philosophy; student is able to sufficiently order the heard philosophical theorems although he is not always able to find in the history of philosophy

- for grade 4 (db): the student is able to analyze philosophical arguments, well identifies key theses and assumptions using the texts of modern and contemporary philosophy; the student knows how to listen with understanding and is able to order the heard philosophical statements based on sources in the history of philosophy.

- for grade 5 (very good): the student perfectly analyzes philosophical arguments, easily identifies their key theses and assumptions using the texts of modern and contemporary philosophy; the student can perfectly listen with understanding and is able to sort out heard philosophical statements by searching in the history of philosophy

POWERS:

The degree of involvement in searching in the history of philosophy the sources of statements on topics engaging him and in finding a way of solving life problems and problems is assessed.

Assessment methods:

1. Written exam in the form of a selection test from the content presented in lectures.

The exam grade in the form of a lecture selection test. The following grading scale is adopted:

5.0 - 100% - 91% of correct answers

4.5 - 90% - 81% of correct answers

4.0 - 80% - 71% of correct answers

3.5 - 70% - 61% of correct answers

3.0 - 60% - 51% of correct answers

2.0 - 50% - 0% of correct answers
