Short description:	The course of metapsychology develops on the advanced level the theoretical knowledge from the course "Metapsychology - theoria". The subject touches upon the applicable aspect of metapsychology - applied metapsychology in theoretical analysis and research practice.
Full description:	The course of metapsychology develops on the advanced level the theoretical knowledge from the course "Metapsychology - theoria". The subject touches upon the applicable aspect of metapsychology - applied metapsychology in theoretical analysis and research practice. It offers to use tools of metapsychology in individual research projects of PhD students and allows to perform their critical analysis - identify their ontological, epistemological and axiological assumptions. 1. Identification of examples of the critique of psychology such as: psychologism, naturalism, individualism, reductionism and dimensional ontology in the literature. 2. Distinguishing the thought style in chosen research projects - the anthropology of knowledge (L. Fleck). 3. Preparation of a critical review/analysis of theoretical assumptions of research project. 4. Application of epistemic perspectives of cultural psychology and real psychology in response to the weaknesses of the mainstream psychology (vide 1). 5. Analysis of capacities and limits of the proposed metapsychological tools. 6. The significance of metapsychology for the development of self-reflexion in a researcher and generativity of new research areas.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	Upon the course completion a student: - knows how to conduct the critical analysis of chosen research projects, - applies the assumptions of the critical review for the purpose of identification the theoretic foundations of his project, - performs self-reflexion during the research activity, - understands capacities, limits and applications of metapsychology.
