The lecture presents the peculiarity of European philosophy in historical aspect. Focusing on investigation the changes in analysed problems, the ways of solving the intellectual problems and changes in research interests in various epochs.

He knows and understands the basic concepts of philosophy

Understand the philosophical positions of pluralism, causes of it and consequences

Skills:

It can take a stand in the philosophical debate

Can used philosophical terminology easily

Social competence:

It is critical of the different views of the world and man, and is careful in pronouncing the final statements

Preserves the openness of the various philosophical arguments

Is aware that the richness of reality in which we live does not allow it to close in the final answers.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

At the end of the course students write an exam testing their knowledge. At the exam following elements are assessed: understanding of described issues, the way students present their knowledge and ability for critical analysis.
