The course presents selected important issues that are part of CSR, mainly CSR reporting, CSR concepts, and standards (ISO 20121, ISO 26000, AA 100). Students will also learn about the connection of CSR with environmental protection (AGENDA 2030, Dow Jones Sustainability Index), cause-related marketing, and the role of stakeholders in shaping CSR policy in an organization.

(in Polish) Niektórzy ze współczesnych intelektualistów pytają: czego może nas nauczyć Artur Schopenhauer? Czy warto zgłębiać jego filozofię?

Schopenhauer zasługuje na uwagę co najmniej z trzech powodów: 1. był pierwszym znaczącym filozofem europejskim, który nie tylko krytykował chrześcijaństwo ale bronił wartości ateizmu, rozumianego w specyficzny sposób; 2. był pierwszym europejskim filozofem, który propagował wielkie religie Wschodu tzn. hinduizm i buddyzm; 3. jako jeden z pierwszych filozofów poprzez swój woluntaryzm - zdecydowanie zaakcentował dominację pozarozumowych pierwiastków w naturze ludzkiej, a pomniejszył pierwiastki rozumowe.

(in Polish) „Natura” jest pojęciem używanym w całej niemal historii filozofii, stąd wieloznacznym. Dodatkowo korzystają z niego estetyka, teorie społeczne i polityczne i nauki przyrodnicze. Celem zajęć jest przedstawienie różnorodnego rozumienia „natury” i wykorzystania tego pojęcia zwłaszcza w teorii badań przyrodniczych (prawo natury), etyce i filozofii prawa (prawo naturalne).

(in Polish) Dziś wiele mówi się na temat kryzysu współczesnej kultury. Przejawem tego kryzysu jest niespotykana dotychczas próba nowego określenia czym jest natura człowieka.

Ćwiczenia są uzupełnieniem wykładu: „Spór o człowieka. Rozumienie natury ludzkiej w personalizmie Dietricha von Hildebranda i Johna F. Crosbe’go”. Poprzez lekturę tekstów współczesnych personalistów będziemy poszukiwać odpowiedzi na dwa zasadnicze pytania: co tak naprawdę znaczy istnieć jako osoba i jakie są tego konsekwencje w życiu codziennym?

Analizować również będziemy teksty autorów, którzy odrzucają personalistyczną koncepcję osoby ludzkiej.

(in Polish) Za Karlem Jaspersem pewne momenty w życiu człowieka nazywa się „sytuacjami granicznymi”. Rozszerzając nieco to pojęcie (nie jest momentem wyboru przez podmiot, a raczej przez jego otoczenie) nazwać tak można również początek życia człowieka i pierwsze miesiące jego rozwoju.

Celem wykładu jest przygotowanie słuchaczy do udziału w dyskursie i podejmowania decyzji wobec człowieka w początkach jego życia; wymaga to naświetlenia problematyki z punktu widzenia biologii, filozofii, etyki i prawa.

(in Polish) Celem prowadzonych zajęć jest rozpoznanie kwestii środkowoeuropejskiej tożsamości. Pytania, na które będziemy starali się wspólnie udzielić odpowiedzi zostały sformułowane w części szczegółowej opisu zajęć. Efektem końcowym prowadzonych zajęć powinna być umiejętność racjonalnego ustosunkowania się do problemu przeszłości, współczesności oraz perspektyw środkowoeuropejskiej tożsamości politycznej i kulturowej. Poza tym, celem zajęć jest rozbudzenie i naukowe ugruntowanie zainteresowań studentów problemem transnarodowej tożsamości we współczesnych stosunkach międzynarodowych. Jest to bowiem temat zyskujący na aktualności wraz z zachodzącymi procesami regionalizacji i globalizacji.
