Brief description
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with selected advanced methods of data analysis currently used in psychological research. The lectures focus on presenting the general idea of a wide range of advanced analyses in order to enable students to interpret the results of analyses presented in scientific publications in the field of psychology and to critically evaluate the interpretation suggested by the author of the publication. Practical classes focus on training the skills of conducting selected analyses in popular statistical software (SPSS and R). |

(in Polish) Uczestnicy seminarium zapoznają się z literaturą przedmiotu indywidualnie, adekwatnie do poszukiwanego a następnie sformułowanego problemu badawczego. Celem indywidualnych poszukiwań badawczych jest realizacja nowatorskiej i interdyscyplinarnej problematyki badawczej z zakresu psychologii klinicznej, psychosomatyki i psychologii zdrowia oraz stresu, teoretyczne ich opracowywanie oraz weryfikacja empiryczna postawionych hipotez badawczych. Ponadto, w ramach seminarium będzie prowadzona praca nad warsztatem metodologicznym oraz podnoszeniem umiejętności redagowania tekstów naukowych. |

(in Polish) Przedstawienie studentom podstawowej wiedzy z zakresu mechanizmów patogenezy zaburzeńi celem poszerzenia ich ogólnego zasobu wiadomości, ukierunkowujących ich psychologiczne kształcenie na podstawy rozpoznawania zaburzeń psychicznych i udzielania pomocy psychologicznej.
