(in Polish) Celem zajęć jest przedstawienie i nauczenie studentów technik oraz metod wykorzystywanych w coachingu i doradztwie zawodowym. W ramach kursu zostaną zrealizowane następujące moduły tematyczne:

2. Zasady etyczne i dobre praktyki prowadzenia sesji coachingowych oraz doradztwa zawodowego

The aim of the classes is to present basic knowledge, information and tools useful in the process of conducting career counseling by a psychologist.

(in Polish) Studenci podczas ćwiczeń poznają komponenty kreatywności oraz struktury i formy prowadzenia ćwiczeń wzbudzających kreatywność, zasad prowadzenia spotkań wzbudzających kreatywność i procesów projektowych opartych o wzbudzenie procesu kreatywnego.

This lecture is an introduction to the problem of distinguishing science from pseudoscience - that is, the problem of demarcation. In the course of the lecture students will get acquainted with the characteristics of the problem of demarcation, will get to know various solutions of this problem, and will face the question: is it possible to distinguish science from pseudoscience?

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with selected advanced methods of data analysis currently used in psychological research. The lectures focus on presenting the general idea of a wide range of advanced analyses in order to enable students to interpret the results of analyses presented in scientific publications in the field of psychology and to critically evaluate the interpretation suggested by the author of the publication. Practical classes focus on training the skills of conducting selected analyses in popular statistical software (SPSS and R).

(in Polish) Głównym celem przedmiotu będzie przedstawienie studentom sposobów zarządzania i analizowania danych przy użyciu programu Excel oraz Open Office. Przedstawione zostaną praktyczne aspekty pracy z danymi, które są wykorzystywane w szeroko pojętej praktyce biznesowej. Studenci będą również mieli okazję nauczyć się w jaki sposób analizować dane i opracowywać analityczne wskaźniki HR (np. obliczanie retencji, rotacji, frekwencji).

The course of "Anthropology and psychology" introduces into the area of anthropology and its subdisciplines as well as their relations with psychology.

• Monographic lecture - 30 hours

Biases in judgment and decision making are especially important in cognitive psychology since they inspired many experimental and theoretical investigations. These concepts refer to the well-known phenomenon of optical illusions, they are errors and fallacies that are committed with a strong belief in veracity of judgment. During this lecture selected examples of biases will be discussed along with the mechanisms of human information processing that explain them.

The goal of this lecture is to broaden students' knowledge about paradigms and theoretical models of cognition. It is expected that students will acquire good understanding of the nature of scientific (experimental) investigation. A secondary aim of the course is to develop students' English vocabulary concerning judgments and decision making psychology.

• Monographic lecture - 30 hours

In all developed countries, a decline in number of births and an increase in permanent childlessness have been observed for several decades. The course offers an interdisciplinary perspective on this phenomenon. Psychological theories explaining reproductive decisions will be discussed, as well as the results of research that analyses the factors important for these decisions.

Course goals: The main goal of the course is learning students the basic theories of cognitive psychology and how these theories are derived from empirical data. Moreover, main limitations and controversies over this area of psychology will be described. The future and prospects of cognitive psychology will be discussed.

Objectives of the lectures: introduction of basic information about mechanisms of educational impact and main aspects of the influence of family and school; the introduction of methods of diagnosis and a description of educational environment.

Objectives of the workshops: presentation of the ways for diagnosing of educational problems along with basic psychological instruments used in research on educational environment.

Teaching outcomes:

Training students in application of psychological knowledge in resolving educational problems and acquisition of practical skills in using instruments for diagnosis of educational environment and in interpretation of the outcomes.

Zajęcia maja zapoznać studentów z różnymi sytuacjami ekstremalnymi, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sytuacji pracy. Pokazane będą także różnice indywidualne w mechanizmach radzenia sobie człowieka w takich sytuacjach .Zostana także przedstawione koncepcje kryzysu i stresu potraumatycznego oraz.koncepcje kontuzji moralnych w obliczu zachowań odbiegających od normy moralnej . Omówione także zostaną związki pomiędzy stresem a działaniem oraz możliwe zaburzenia (w tym o charakterze chorobowym) powodowanymi przez stres i metodami wsparcia psychologicznego w sytuacjach kryzysowych.
